News from the outer reaches... Winter is rolling through,
I am warm and happy, New additions include a number of shows
around the New England region of our great nation, and also
a new technique I have been using, a Webcam! I will be
live-streaming a number of performances from my living room,
the studio, a venue, or wherever. You can view the Webcam

Yes, it is December in New Orleans, and although there
will be no Sno-Balls until winter is gone, there is still
plenty of up coming 'weather' to report. My most recent
project is a Christmas album that will be premiering at
Peaches Records, here in New Orleans, on December 12th! I
teamed up with saxophone player, David Bode, to form a band
we call, 'Fig and The New Tones' Our new album, entitled
'Pine Cone Classics', is featured in the December issue of
Offbeat Magazine. More to come soon!..

It has been a great autumn for me, and I hope you all
are well also. My CD has been selling copies across the
world! It is now available at Peaches Records, here in
New Orleans, and still on itunes, Napster, and Cd Baby.
I have finished the recording of a seasonal album that
will be released in the next coming weeks. It features
some of the great musicians in this city, so please
keep checking in for updates!

A noteworthy show this month is, Friday Oct. 16th at
The Big Top Three Ring Circus, 1638 Clio St. Max and
Charles are playing a show together! Doors open at 9pm.
Steps from Lee Circle, "The Big Top" is a gallery with
a nice stage, and a bar; this venue is comfortable.

Come enjoy a unique performance by the musical acts,
Broken Smokes and Earworms!!

I am now playing every Saturday and Sunday from 4-6pm,
and every Thursday from 8-10pm, at The Apple Barrel,
located at 609 Frenchman St." I'll keep you up with any
new gig additions on the "shows" page. There's sure to be
many special guests in future, do that strut!

This just in! My most recent recording, entitled "Earworms",
has been released. Very exciting indeed, as well as
keeping up with my summer itinerary, I will begin to
sell my album locally in New Orleans, and through
various online mediums. Please keep up, I will be

Great news everyone! A new album I recorded is now
available to purchase on i-tunes !!! Self-titled as,
"Thought Train", the album is a collaborative project
recorded alongside singer and songwriter Phil Junior
Veritas Colombatto. We recorded it in June of 2007 at
Laughing Tiger Studios, San Rafael, CA. It was a
blast to record this album so I hope you enjoy the
music. Just type in Thought Train and you can find
the album and songs, ahhhh modern technologies...Also
check in often for upcoming and current show dates
as they are always changing.

has now become the media section, don't worry it
still contains photos. The media section also
contains a music player, music video, and a
presskit. The photos have been updated. There are
also quite a few shows coming up in the next few

New addition to the website! Max has recorded a
promotional video of him performing. Recorded in
his old bedroom, the video portrays Max playing
three brand new original tunes. The link to the

Greetings! Well, It's summertime and Max is hitting
the dusty road. Yes, the steamboat is leaving the
porto of New Orleans. The first stop is San Francisco,
Ca. Check for dates coming soon at the Sweetwater
Saloon in early July. The second stop is Veneta, Or.
Here you can see Max play at the Oregon Country Fair,
July 13-15. After Oregon, the steamboat is carrying
Max off to play Nordic Blues in Finland and Estonia.
You can see him every Wednesday night in Talinn,
Estonia, at the Texas Honky-Tonk Cantina from July
22nd through August 25th. Max will bring the house
out. Keep checking in for more updates and look for
a new music video addition coming soon!"
